CT1 Sealant Adhesive: Adiseal is Better. Find out how.

CT1 sealant adhesive is a good product but Adiseal is even better than CT1.

Adiseal has stronger mould resistance than CT1 sealant

The image below shows the results of a mould resistance test. CT1 sealant and Adiseal sealant were applied inside new clean plastic cups. The cups were then filled half way with tap water, covered in plastic & stored in a cool dark place at room temperature. The image shows the results of the mould growth after 24 days of continuous exposure to same the tap water.

As can be seen in the image, there is a lot more mould growth on CT1 sealant where it was exposed to the water. The test was started on 13/07/23 with the image taken on 06/08/23.

Adiseal has stronger colour retention in water than CT1 sealant

The image below shows the results of the colour retention test in water of the CT1 sealant clear vs Adiseal ultra clear sealant. Just as before, both clear sealant products were applied inside new clean plastic cups, filled with tap water, covered in plastic & stored in a cool dark place at room temperature. The image shows the results after 24 days of continuous exposure to the same tap water. As can be seen in the image, CT1 sealant clear has turned white whereas Adiseal ultra clear sealant has remained clear. The test was started on 13/07/23 with the image taken on 06/08/23

Adiseal has stronger grab than CT1 adhesive

In a test using 100g weights on a vertical ceramic tile, Adiseal adhesive has been shown to be stronger than CT1 adhesive. The test was carried out on a clean ceramic tile. A small pea sized amount of adhesive from both CT1 adhesive & Adiseal adhesive was applied to the tile. 100g weights were then placed and pushed down thoroughly on the tile while it was horizontal. The tile was then placed in a vertical position to allow gravity to pull down on the 100g weights.

As can be seen in the image, Adiseal adhesive white was shown to have stronger grab than CT1 adhesive white. A similar test was also carried out with clear versions of both products. In the clear version test, Adiseal ultra clear adhesive was shown to have stronger grab than CT1 adhesive clear on almost all occasions.

Adiseal strongest adhesive in independent test

Adiseal adhesive sealant has also been shown to be the strongest adhesive in an independent adhesive strength test by Ultimate Handyman. Adiseal was over 3 times stronger than the next best adhesive and too strong for even the test rig. The screws started to rip out before the adhesive bond on Adiseal could break, forcing the test on Adiseal to be stopped.

Adiseal is lower priced than CT1
